    ForkLift Operator, 3rd Shift, $12 Hour - Weekly Overtime Plus

     

    A Paterson Area Manufacture is currently seeking to hire an experienced Forklift Operator to for a contract to full time hire position.  Certification is not required but you must pass a forklift operator test to be hired.  

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities of ForkLift Operator

    • Drive various types of Forklift and Reach equipment in tight working areas moving heavy materials to and from production area.    
    • Lift heavy rolls of textile, paper and plastic film onto containers during stages of production process.
    • Provide hands on assistance during the receiving and shipping of materials.
    • Exhibit good interpersonal skills as this person will interact with the machine operators and packers, as well as the area supervisors on a regular basis.
    • Maintain forklift records and creates work orders for the equipment.

    Qualifications

    Requirements of ForkLift Operator

    • One to Two years of recent forklift experience
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. with regularity
    • Comfort and familiarity using computers.
    • Available to work flexible hours.
    • Spanish or Bi-Lingual Skills are a Plus! 

    The starting hourly wage for this position begins at $12.00 an hour, an increase at 90 days with four to eight hours of overtime each week.
